Do you ever feel bad about how much you love your bed or couch?
You have big dreams. You want to start a business. You want to make more money. You want to live a lavish life. But then the weekend comes. You plan to work hard. But you don’t.
Instead, you stay in your pajamas. You watch TV for hours. You scroll on your phone until your eyes hurt. You tell yourself that you will start tomorrow. But tomorrow comes, and you feel the same way.
You might think something is wrong with you. You might label yourself as “lazy” or “unmotivated.”
I have good news for you. There is nothing wrong with you. In fact, your laziness might actually be your superpower.

Inside your brain, there is a voice I call the Lazy Self.
The Lazy Self is not evil. It is not trying to ruin your life. Actually, it is trying to help you. The Lazy Self has one main job. That job is to protect your energy.
Think about it. Your brain wants to keep you safe. Doing new things is scary. Starting a business is hard. Posting a video is stressful.
So your Lazy Self whispers to you. It says things like:
- “Stay here where it is warm.”
- “That looks too hard.”
- “Let’s just do it later.”
This voice is trying to save you from stress. It wants to keep you comfortable.
Why Lazy People Are Actually Geniuses
Did you know that lazy people are often the smartest people in the room?
It is true. A hardworking person will spend all day doing a hard job. They will sweat and struggle. But a lazy person does not want to struggle. So they look for a shortcut. They look for an easier way to get the same result.
This is where your Lazy Self becomes a superpower.
When you procrastinate, you might just be waiting for a better idea. When you sleep in, you are recovering your energy so you can be strong later. When you avoid busywork, you are saving your brain power for something that really matters.
The problem is not that you are lazy. The problem is that you think being lazy is bad. Because you feel guilty, you get stuck. You freeze.
How to Use Your Superpower
You do not need to stop being lazy. You just need to be lazy in a smarter way.
I call this the Lazy to Lavish method. Instead of fighting your Lazy Self, you can work with it. You can tell your Lazy Self that doing the work is actually the easiest path.
Here is how you do it.
1. Stop Using the Word “Lazy” First, change the label. Laziness is not who you are. It is just a pause. It is a moment where your energy is low. That is okay.
2. Use Tools to Do the Hard Work Your Lazy Self hates hard work. So, don’t do it. Use tools instead. This is why I love AI. If I need to write an email, I don’t stare at a blank screen. That is hard. I ask AI to write a draft for me. That is easy. My Lazy Self loves it because I get the job done in two minutes.
3. Focus on One Tiny Thing Your Lazy Self gets scared by big goals. If you say, “I am going to build a website today,” your Lazy Self will panic. It will tell you to go take a nap. But what if you say, “I am going to open my laptop”? That is easy. Your Lazy Self can handle that. Once the laptop is open, you do one more tiny thing. This creates momentum.
The Secret Weapon

You have a battle in your brain. Your Lazy Self wants comfort. Your Lavish Self wants success.
To win, you need a plan that makes both sides happy. You need to show your Lazy Self that the best way to be comfortable forever is to build a business that runs on autopilot.
I have a special script I use every time I feel stuck. It helps me talk to my Lazy Self and get moving without stress. It turns my excuses into action.
I want to give you this script for free.
I put together a guide called Momentum Mastery. It is full of scripts and prompts that help you go from “I’ll do it later” to “I did it today.” (coming soon)
You don’t have to hustle. You don’t have to burn out. You just need the right words to trick your brain.
Ready to turn your laziness into your biggest win?
Or, if you want to see exactly how I talk to my Lazy Self, watch my new video below. I show you the exact conversation that changed my life.
